Bedell Cellars was founded by Kip Bedell in 1979. Kip’s interest in winemaking began with a kit. From blending in his basement to overseeing 78 acres, he has nurtured Bedell Cellars into what is widely recognized today as a benchmark producer from the Long Island winegrowing region. Bedell has been owned by Michael Lynne, the esteemed art collector and film executive, and led by 30-year veteran winemaker Rich Olsen-Harbich since 2000.
